Screen Gems Network Launches New Hour of Programming May 1 With ‘The
Partridge Family’ and ‘The Monkees’

CULVER CITY, Calif., May 2 /PRNewswire/ — Columbia TriStar Television
Distribution’s (CTTD) Screen Gems Network launches a new one-hour programming
block this week with “The Monkees” and “The Partridge Family.” The new shows
begin airing today, Monday through Friday, in national syndication. The
Screen Gems Network is a fresh and fluid programming source with a rotation
of the most popular episodes of some of the best shows ever made from the
library of Columbia TriStar. Two of television’s most memorable wishmakers,
“Bewitched” and “I Dream of Jeannie,” launched on Screen Gems Network in
September, 1999 and are now replaced by two more classic favorites.

“The Monkees,” which originally aired from September 1966 to March 1968, and
“The Partridge Family,” which originally aired from September 1970 to 1974,
were the first television series to revolve around bands. Now we have pop
and rock bands everywhere on the small screen, but nostalgia for this period
is more than alive and well with series like “That ’70s Show” and last
evening’s NBC special movie presentation, “The ’70s.” Screen Gems Network
will package all Monkees and Partridge family episodes with fun and nostalgic
“interstitials” containing classic commercials, show trivia and other
exclusive elements.

Screen Gems Network brings classic television back to daytime with over 350
classic television series from the 1950’s to the 1980’s. These series are
just a few of the countless popular television programs from Columbia TriStar
Television Distribution, with the largest television library in the
entertainment business.

programming and syndication, home video acquisition and distribution,
