Hi there,

Fans of collectables may find the new Spring edition of the MOJO
COLLECTIONS magazine of interest. It features a 4 page article (in

Also of note, The Definitive Monkees has just been released in Australia (2

Last night I went to an event called the Second Chance
Prom with Herman’s Hermits and MICKY DOLENZ! What a
show! I won a pair of tickets that included great
seats and backstage passes. Micky was the first to
perform. He went through most of the number ones and
said his usual jokes and even Coco sang a few songs.
Though there were rumors that Davy and Peter were
going to join him for this show, they never showed.
But seeing Micky was just as good. After his set, we
were allowed to go backstage to meet him and “Herman”.
It was all kind of rushed so they could have everyone
back in the ballroom for Peters set. The group of us
had tons of pictures taken and autographs signed and
pretty much had to get back to the prom. BUT- we had
heard Micky was going to be signing more in the lobby
before Peters set so we followed right behind and got
even more pics and autographs! What a night! The
face to face meeting may have been rushed but getting
to meet my all time favorite musician was worth it
all.
When Herman’s Hermits came out to perform, the place
went crazy. You could tell there were more fans there
for him- but there were a lot of Micky fans too. He
puts on an excellent show and plays to the crowd very
well. If you have never seen him in concert, make
plans. You will have a great time!
It was a very good night. Now I am counting down the
days to when I get to see the Monkees again in
Michigan. I went to the Merrillville show in March
and it was great. 2 Monkees shows, a Micky show and
meeting Micky all in 4 months. How lucky am I?? hehe
