From: ROSE ECKHOFF

Hello Everyone!!!

Davy Jones will be appearing at EPCOT (Lake Buena Vista, Florida) for
three days in April. Namely April 27, 28 & 29, 2001. This is on a Friday,
Saturday & Sunday. This information was obtained from Poll-Star and a couple of
Davy Jones Fan Club sites.

I’m a Disney Travel Specialist (and yes, cruises too!) and would be happy to
put together a hotel package for you including multi-day pass to the Disney
Theme Parks. You could go to EPCOT each day if you wanted to. There are
several hotels/motels both on and off the Disney property.

All on-property sites have free transporation to and from the theme parks.
Most of the off-site properties offer the same. Please let me know if
you are at all interested.

[VIDEORANCH NEWS] MP3s of Nez Live Tracks! You’ve never heard these before

Hi there.

Our “Blossom Special” CDs have gone over HUGE. We’re getting great feedback
from people who have already received theirs. Many have ordered second and
third ones because they’re so happy with the quality of the sound, and the
unique personalized CD and case.

If you’ve been thinking about getting one, we wanted to let you know that,
while Live at the Palais isn’t quite out yet, you can put Palais tracks on
your custom CD now.

Also, there are 4 amazing bonus tracks going on the Palais CD from 2 other
concerts (Live at the Armadillo World Headquarters,1981, and The Gretsch
concert, 1995). They’re available to put on a custom CD now as well. You can
listen to samples of 2 of the bonus tracks by clicking on the URL address
below.
http://www.videoranch.com/html/palaisbonustracks.html
I’ll email you when samples of the other 2 are available to listen to. I
doubt very much you’ve heard these tracks before, unless you were at the
concerts.

If you’re not living in the US and you want your CD in time for the
holidays, you should have us FedEx it to you. Email us for a FedEx quote.

In the US, you’re probably still OK through Monday and then you should think
about FedExing 2 Day Air to be sure. You can choose FedEx when you order
online.

If you have any questions, email us. You can also call us toll free at
1-866-727-2639. We’ll contact you as soon as we’re ready to take Palais
orders.

Happy Holidays from Videoranch.
Sincerely yours,
Navajo Slim

From: Nez4Ever1230

In the December 18, 2000 issue of People Magazine there is a review of The
Backstreet Boys new CD Black & Blue in which the Monkees are briefly mentioned.
The reviewer discusses how several members of the group wrote several of the
songs on the CD. He also discusses how other groups such as the Monkees wrote
songs on their final albums and whether or not it is a good idea to write
songs on their albums for the first time. The review is on page 41.
Thank you,

Monkee Business Fanzine Monkees News Update
updated December 22, 2000

While the Monkees continue to plan their solo tour schedules, there is now
word that
Micky, Davy, and Peter will reunite to play a short 15-city tour in the
spring. The
reunion tour will be handled by David Fishof, who produced the guys’ 1986
reunion
tour. Fishof recently became Davy Jones’ personal manager and wants to
steer Davy’s
career back toward the stage and the musical theater—he also envisions
the Monkees’
tour leading up to a stint on Broadway. Davy recently told MONKEE BUSINESS
FANZINE (Dec. 2000) that the limited run Broadway show would be called
“Monkeemania”
and would star the Monkees—“even ‘Beatlemania’ didn’t have the real
Beatles,”
Davy said. “Monkeemania” would resemble the 1987 tour, with all the comedy
skits and schtick, with guest stars, a different celebrity playing Mr.
Babbit every
night, and the audience never knowing who would show up on stage with the
guys.
“It could be Peter’s friend James Lee Stanley or Micky’s sister or my band,
all
the familiar faces,” Davy says. In all of these proposed projects, Davy
told MBF,
“Mike is always welcome. He can do anything we can. He has done
everything we’ve done.”
