FROM A FRIDAY AUGUST 20, 1971 ARTICLE: Monkee Business Brings Suit: David Jones, ex-member of the Monkees singing group, has filed a $2 million damage suit against his former business managers, a a spokeman says. The suit alleges that more than $3 million was improperly handled between September 22, 1967, and January 9, 1969, the spokesmen said. Defendants are Lawrence Spector and Lawrence Spector Associates, formerly of Beberly Hills, the spokesman said.
