Davy Jones and U2, 1997

In 1997 U2 embarked on their Pop Mart Tour, where they performed not only their hits but cover versions of other Pop hits. One of them was ‘Daydream Believer’ sung by The Edge. When the tour hit Los Angeles, The Edge and the audience got a big surprise when Davy Jones took the stage to join The Edge in performing ‘Daydream Believer’. A fan video of the show has been floating around YouTube for years, but now the BEST version of this amazing moment has just turned up and looks to be from the actual master tapes. This version combines the beginning part of the fan video and cuts nicely into the official version in both picture and sound. I know the video has been posted previously, but this is the best composite of both the fan and official versions.
