Monkees With Nez In Monterey Aug. 5th!

As announced on his Facebook page, Michael Nesmith joined Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork at the Monkees 50th anniversary concert at the State Theater in Monterey, CA on August 5th. Nez took the stage during the encores and performed ‘Circle Sky’, ‘Papa Gene’s Blues’, What Am I Doing Hanging’Round?’, and ‘I’m A Believer’. Nesmith gave a shout out to the firefighters who have been battling the fires in the Monterey area. After the last number the three surviving Monkees took a group bow and linked arms and did the Monkees walk as they exited to the wild cheers of the fans in attendance.
