The Blue Meanies headline 50th Anniversary Music Festival!
*********Special Ticket Sale this week only! *********

Monkees fans know and love The Blue Meanies from all their Monkee Convention shows, their Monkee/Davy Jones tributes and their love of The Monkees. The Blue Meanies are one of the most popular and versatile tribute bands on the East Coast, having performed high-profile tributes to The Monkees, The Beatles and Beach Boys. The New York/New Jersey-based Meanies, who have been performing together since 1984, are renowned for their energetic and fun tribute shows. They have played venues, festivals and concerts from NY to Liverpool, but this is their first-ever appearance at this popular New York/New England regional Beatles-themed festival, also known as “Danbury Fields Forever.” It’s a family-friendly Music, Foods & Arts Festival now in its fourth year, and will feature 10 bands playing the music of The Beatles, their solo material and songs from the sixties.

On August 15, 1965, The Beatles performed their historic first concert at Shea Stadium which paved the way for stadium concerts for the next fifty years. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of this famous event, this year’s Fab 4 Music Festival will be on that exact date – August 15, 2015, and one of the main headliners is THE BLUE MEANIES.

It will all “come together” from noon until 8pm next month, Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at Ives Concert Park in Danbury, Connecticut.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles’ Shea Concert, advance “Ticket to Ride” admissions to the Fab 4 Music Festival are only $19.65. There are also V.I.P. tickets available and hotel packages. Discounted early-bird advance tickets are now on sale; admission will be higher at the door. Advance ticket available at: www.eventbrite.com/e/beatles-music-festival-2015-danbury-fields-forever-fab-4-music-festival-tickets-14945919648. In celebration of RINGO STARR’s 75th birthday yesterday, take $5.00 of every ticket for 75 hours with this code: “WCT”

Ives Concert Park is located at 43 Lake Avenue Extension on the campus of Western CT State University in Danbury, CT – easily accessible from throughout the East Coast. Along with the great entertainment, there will be memorabilia & record dealers, exhibitors, attractions, along with a large variety of food options available. Featured artist is “Shannon” of The Shannon Gallery (” 5 Faces of Davy”), one of the world’s most famous rock & roll artists.

For guests staying overnight, there are reduced-rate special hotel packages which include accommodations and breakfast. There is also a festival after-party on Saturday night at the hotel.

“Danbury Fields Forever IV” on Saturday, August 15, 2015, is presented by Liverpool Productions, the same company that presented “NYC FAB 50: The Beatles’ 50th Anniversary Celebration” in New York City last February, and have produced Monkees Conventions in the past.

Special Guest of honor is British Invasion legend Hilton Valentine of The Animals. The ROck & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and talk about the sixties. The Fab 4 Music Festival is hosted by Charles F. Rosenay!!! (Monkees Convention Producer/Host). Ken Michaels of the “Every Little Thing” radio show and Gary Theroux ofRewoundRadio.com are Special Guest MCs.
