The Monkees set to play Festa

Festa Italiana announced Thursday that the Monkees will perform at 7:30 p.m. July 23 at the Marcus Amphitheater.

Tickets for the Monkees, featuring original members Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork, are $59, $45 and $25 excluding service charges. They go on sale noon May 7 at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, ticketmaster.com and at the Italian Community Center office, 631 E. Chicago St.

The show is part of the “Oldies 95.7 Super-Sized Summer Bash – An Evening with the Monkees – The 45th Anniversary Tour.”

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, previously announced, will perform at 6:30 p.m. July 24. Tickets for the Valli show are $31 to $71 at ticketmaster.com.
