Often people don’t realize that a lot of great songs go through many many
changes before finally being recorded. The Monkees were no exception. In
fact, many Monkees songs actually were rewritten and taken apart to make
two or more separate songs in an attempt to milk as much as possible out
of the “fad.”

Here then are some of the original song titles before they were
