Released on the Air Cuts label, ‘Davy Jones & Micky Dolenz – Pittsburgh August ’94’ is taken from an August 6, 1994 radio broadcast on Pittsburgh station 3WS-FM at the 3 Rivers Regatta on the T.J. Max stage, this concert with Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz from their ‘Together Again’ tour is in incredibly excellent quality. The set list is a wonderful selection of hits and fave Monkees tracks with a few extras thrown in, including live versions of ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’, ‘Every Step Of The Way’, ‘Girl’ and more spread over two CDs. A special treat is a pre-show interview with the late Davy Jones. Both Micky and Davy give a spirited and energetic show and the stage banter between them is fun to hear. This a perfect live collection to help celebrate the Monkees 50th anniversary!
