From: MONKEES CONVENTION 2004 NEWS

Hello Everyone,

It has come to our attention…some people misunderstood what I
meant in the way I worded our last Monkees Convention News update.

Therefore, I would like to make this completely CLEAR TO
EVERYONE….You MAY buy ONLY DAVY JONES CONCERT TICKETS….FOR
ANYONE WHO WISHES TO DO SO….

I dumbly assumed anyone who was reading information on our website
http://monkeesconvention04.tripod.com%20was%20coming%20to%20our%20website
interested in finding out NEWS AND INFORMATION regarding the Monkees
38th Anniversary Finale Weekend Convention because THOSE PEOPLE WERE
interested in ATTENDING THE MONKEES CONVENTION 2004….

So I posted that Davy’s Concert Tickets were NOW available to the
first 600 people who bought their tickets to the Monkees Convention!!

This is true, however, somehow, it became MISUNDERSTOOD OR
MISCONSTRUED to be that ONLY IF YOU BOUGHT TICKETS TO THE CONVENTION
COULD YOU GO TO DAVY’S CONCERT!!!!!!

Everyone, THIS IS NOT TRUE….anyone who wants to see Davy’s Concert
but DOES NOT want to go to the Monkees Convention may do so…..

HERE IS THE INFORMATION FOR THIS!!!!!

Send a Money Order only (NO CASH OR CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED) made
payable to Jill Smith in the amount of $19.99 for each Davy Jones
Concert Ticket you wish to purchase and send it to:

Monkees Convention 2004
5812 Temple City Blvd., Suite 407
Temple City, CA 91780

After we receive your money order we will mail you a receipt for the
amount of money you sent us for the cost of each Davy Jones concert
ticket you purchase. The receipt will also show you how many
tickets we received money for and what your seat numbers will
be….your seats will also be assigned as are the convention goers.
Your seating assignment will also go according to the postmark of
your envelope.

Please bring this receipt with you to the Monkees Convention 2004
Table on Saturday Oct. 2nd at 7:45 PM which will be located just
inside the door. At that time we will ask you for either a drivers
license or a state ID and your receipt and we’ll present you with
your Davy Jones concert ticket and someone will show you to your
seat.

I’m very sorry for my mistake on the wording of information that
went out in my last news update. Our website will be updated
shortly with the corrected information!

Thanks to everyone who brought this to my attention and again, I
apologize for my mistake!

Hope you all enjoy Davy’s Concert as I know it’ll be a show to
remember!!!!!

Dear Discerning Few,
In this era of the apocalypse, it is important to keep a
perspective, and a little booze, and a sensense of humor; =85and some
music. Wait a minute, why donn’t you just come and see me at the
following couple of places in the heartland? I am touring to support
my new CD All Wood and Stones, acoustic rock versions of my favorite
Rolling Stones songs w/Timothy B Schmit (Eagles) and John Batdorf.
Besides my usual, I’ll be singing to some of the actual tracks. Wait
til you hear it. The devil’s in the details:

Friday, July 9, 9 pm, Caf=E9 Carpe, Ft Atkinson, WI (920) 563-9391
Tuesday, July 13, 8:30 pm, Fitzgerald’s, Chicago, IL (708) 788-2118
Thursday, July 15, 8:30 pm, Shank Hall, Milwaukee, WI (414) 276-7288
Friday, July 16, House Concert, Northern Wisconsin
Sunday, July 18, 7:00 pm, House Concert, 711 Lake Ave, Wilmette,
IL, (312) 371 2284

Hope that you all can make it. If not, concentrate on you creating
peace and harmony in this world before the bozo’s blow it up.

James Lee
