I'm a believer!!!

This is a great page.  I've have 
been a Monkees fan since 1966.  I happened to be in Hershey, PA, in '96 and 
I was able to see them at Hershey Park in June.  I was thrilled.  It was 
the first time I had ever seen them.  Peter was the best.  He had me 
laughing and thrilled at the same time.  He is great.  I hope to see them 
real soon.  They need to come a little further south on their tour.  Love 
them always.

We LOVE The Monkees as many 
of you might have guessed because we are signing their guestbook, but 
anyways, we really like them & we wish they were on ANY channel at this 
point at a good time.  Thanks.

 I wasn't 
born 'till 11 years after The Monkees TV show first aired,but I think the 
show, and the music of The Monkees is GREAT!! I'd love to see them perform 
in Sydney.

Last nite,(9/18/97)...saw the band in 
Myrtle Beach @ The Palace Theater!! Great show!!!Fan favs were Last 
Train...and Daydream...but my favs were The Girl I Knew...and Porpoise 
Song!!! Did miss Peter doing Do I Have To Do It All Over Again??? Mickey 
stayed on the drums the majority of the show. Missed some of the old 
favorites but it was a great show!  

I attended the Myrtle Beach, SC concert 
last night. It was better than the concert I went to in Detroit 30 years 
ago. I could actually see and hear this one!

  I 
attended the September 15, Monkees concert at the Washington State Fair in 
Puyallup, WA.  I thought it was better than the 1996 concert tour.  I 
enjoyed the interaction with the audience and the new songs. Even though it 
rained, some of the venue was open to the weather, we stayed until the very 
end.  We had a sort of Monkees Woodstock. Keep the faith, Davey, Peter and 
Mickey are better than ever. G.R.

The Monkees are really 
groovy!  I especially love Davy Jones.  They're the most talented and funny 
musicians/stars I've ever known of.

I just got the Monkees Box Set yesterday,  with 21 tapes!!!  
It has every episode on it. Gosh, I love you guys! I worship you! I have a 
Monkee wall in my room! I am your biggest fan! You are all great. I want to 
meet you, so come to Mtn. Lakes N.J. You can stay at my house. Micky can 
stay in my room! I will show you my Monkee wall. Mike can stay with my 
friend Nicole, a very attractive, smart and funny 12 year old (Nicole wrote 
that). I heard that you guys might come to N.J. next year for something 
about your Monkee Mobile! So you have no choice. THIS IS NOT A JOKE! I am 
actually quite serious about it all. Micky, I know you are out there, and I 
will find you someday, somewhere. No matter what I WILL find you. ( please 
don't be afraid )

We 
are huge fans of the Monkees.  Even our ten yr old son love them!!!

Oh my friends, 
doesn't it strike you as a bit sad that so much teaching to use a fan chat 
room has to do with excluding people, forcing people out (I hate you?!), 
and generally being elitist and ego-centric?  Perhaps I'm alone in this-but 
this is supposed to be FUN!  If this medium is so subject to 
unpleasantness, perhaps it's not the best one to express oneself.  There is 
enough suffering in the world without creating a medium to increase it.  If 
it encourages antagonistic behavior, it not only hurts you, but the whole 
universe.

I know you are saying to yourself that you can't help but protect yourself 
from all the wierdo's out there (or something to that effect), but using a 
medium where you must concentrate so hard on protecting yourself from an 
enemy LEADS to having enemies-it is not the other way around.  It becomes 
impossible to protect yourself from your own creation.  Also, you must 
beware of how you judge others because we often become or are afraid we 
already are what we judge others to be.

I've been on this site before, but I changed my name because I just found 
out that we can only leave one message, a totally STUPID idea! Anyway, I 
just gotta say, someone left a nasty message about Davy in the last set of 
messages and, well, people like that should be careful about what they say.  
I know, I shouldn't talk because I myself have said a few things I 
shouldn't have, but in order to be a true Monkee fan one has to appreciate 
EVERY Monkee.  Davy is okay. He hasn't killed anyone, so he can't be all 
bad. I just think that Mike carried the rest of the band with his 
intelligence, his talent, his wit and his good looks. Not to mention 
Peter's incredible body and Micky's great smile. But if Davy has something 
bad to say about Mike, and I know he does, then I will continue to say 
"Davy, shut the hell up!!!!!" Thank you for your time and remember this

I thought seeing the guys back in the 70's was a thrill...but they 
really outdid themselves this summer!  Fantastic shows!  Hey, who says "you

I love those Monkees!!!I was lucky enough to see them 
in concert in Myrtle Beach, on September 18.I had a Blast!!!!!I am only 
thirteen, but I think the Monkees are rubbing their 60's antics on me.I 
watch their show, but VH1 puts them on at 2 am, that really sucks!!!Anyways

Concert in Greenville, SC was 
great!  I saw Mike, Davy, and Mickey in 1969. It was wonderful to finally 
see Peter, too!!!! 

My wife and I drove down to Puyallup, WA, for the show last Monday.
Great performance and great song selections." Porpoise Song"! A bit sad 
that they didn't even mention Mike, especially when performing "The Girl 
That I knew Somewhere". Nevertheless, a fun, wet but wonderful night. Hope 
they come near here again soon, one or all.

Tampa, Florida earlier this year. It brought back all my wonderful memories

Great concert in Greenville, SC  Sept 
19th.  Not only did it bring back memories from my youth but was a great 
showcase for "The Monkees" talent.  Loved the show would like to see it 
again.

saw the Monkess in Greenville and Atlanta. This is the fifth Monkee Concert 
I have attended. They just keep getting better and better. They were great.

Hi people.   I 
just want to say I love the Monkees.  Especially Davy Jones. My friend is 
totally in love with Micky Dolenz. 

I have loved The Monkees since I was 4 years old (I am now 26). I even 
remember waking up crying to my sister (when I was 5) because I came to the 
conclusion that Micky surely must be married. My dream came true recently 
when they came in concert to Philly, PA (8/17/97).I won front row tickets 
and backstage passes to their show (there is something to "Creative 
Visualization" you know). What do you wear to meet The Monkees? What 
wardrobe selection do you pull from to symbolize everything you've been 
through in the last 22 years?? Well, when it came time to go backstage: 
"Davy has left the building". He was "sick" and couldn't stay to sign 
autographs. Peter was so pleasant and mild mannered; a true gentleman. He 
told my friend and I that we looked like we were having fun during the 
concert (AAAAHHHHHHH!!!)!!! (ok, ok, so we were jumping around like maniacs 
right in front of him during the show…)Then came my dream come true: Mr. 
Micky Dolenz entered the room. Was I dreaming? Nope - he was right there!! 
He circled the room twice to assure that he'd left no one autograph-less. 
On his second time around I threw caution to the wind. Chances like this 
only come around once in a lifetime (if even that), you know?! My friend 
and I took each other's picture with him, then I went in for the final 
move. Regrets are harder to live with than embarrassment, what did I have 
to lose? I moved closely toward his face to give him a kiss on his cheek. 
He saw me coming and turned his head!!!! (AAAAAHHHH!!)I got to kiss half of 
my number one favorite Monkee Man's lips!! (I have to set a new goal now). 
As I pulled away, he was facing me and made this "oooohh" sound effect. I 
felt like I was in a full-fledged Monkee episode (o.k. - I can dream, can't 
I?!). I just can't believe that my childhood fantasy took 22 years to 
finally come to fruition. I am in no way bragging; I just thought I'd share 
my story with people who can appreciate it. Thanks! It is so great to know 
that there are so many people out there who care about the well-being of 4 
great personalities who shared their laughter with us for years and years 
(and continue to do so).

Monkees, if you’re listening (reading), please know that you’ve brought an 
immeasurable amount of happiness to my life - as I’m sure the same holds 
true for an infinite number of others.

I have loved the Monkees for 21 
years and I just saw them at the Fresno, Ca show.  I had the amazing 
pleasure of meeting Davy Jones himself...it was a dream come true!!!  Never

The Monkees are the best.  I just wish they would come to Western New 
York so I could see them perform.  Or maybe they could team up with the 
Rolling Stones.  That would be exceptional!-)  I cannot live with out

what a big fan I am of The Monkees.  I have been since their comeback in 
the 80's.  I would love to see them come to the Baton Rouge or New Orleans 
area.  And since I'm a poor college student, I would hope that the tickets 
are kinda cheap! :) Since I am a Mass Communications major, I would love to 
work as an intern on their movie set!  Just to say that I was there!  They 
don't have to pay me!  (of course that's what interns are for!)  If anybody

Growing up watching the 
Monkees was one of the things that introduced me to wanting to work in the

again. I'm the friend of Micky's Chickie who had the good fortune to 
accompany her to the Philadelphia concert in August. I just read her 
account of the event in the guestbook. I wanted to add that the story is 
true, and for those who were concerned, Micky's Chickie solved her wardrobe 
crisis with a very "Monkees" outfit for the concert. (I was wishing I had a 
poncho like Micky used to wear on the TV show). Anyway...the concert was 
great. My favorite part was when Davy sang "Girl, Look What You've Done to 
Me" from the Brady Bunch. The most disappointing part was that Davy didn't 
appear backstage to sign autographs. Just the same, it was great to meet 
Micky and Peter. For the first time in my life, I was speechless, so I 
didn't say much to either one. Still an exciting experience! Thanks again

   I saw the Monkees on August 31, 97...and that was a GREAT show! It 
was hard to see Micky(through the binoclars) because he was Mostly on the 
Drums :-(  But at least I got a chance to see them in concert for the first 
time in my life.  But, I sat at least 3 rows away from the stage and it was 
perfect for me to see.  From what I read in the paper, there was at least 
8,000 people who came to this concert.  I just wished that I would've met 
them!!  That would be a day I wouldn't forget!  I LOVE MICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

been I fan for long, but I am a big fan, I live and breath for you. You are 
the only band I listen to. I seem to find myself falling in love with Davy

I have been a Monkees fan since 1966!!!! 
I met Davy in Tenn. at a book signing for "They Made A Monkee Out of Me" on 
Feb. 3, 1989. He is the BEST!!! In Biloxi, Miss., for their '87 tour, I got 
to see Davy at his hotel. As you can see,I'm a very devoted Davy Jones fan. 
I hope to be able to meet him again.

I love the Monkees....  I first saw them on 
Nickoledeon when they showed their series in the eighties...and I got every 
picture I could of them.  I always wanted to see one of their concerts but 
never got the chance.  Finally on July 4, 1997 on their 30th Anniversary 
tour I saw them at Six Flags Over Texas.  They were awesome and everything 
I expected and more.  Now I'm just hoping I can see them again soon!

     On September 19 I saw the 
Monkees in Greenville.  Thanks to my husband and          lady at the Peace 
Center I got back stage passes.  They were all Great.              I had my 
picture taken with each and also got an autograph.  Of course              
after waiting 30 years to meet them I did get a kiss from davy!!

inl967,l986,l996,and l997 my dream came true on September l9th in 
Greenville.  With the help of my husband and the lady at the Peace Center I 
got backstage passes.  They were Great! I got an autograph and my picture 
taken with each of them.   Also after waiting 30 years to meet my teen-idol 
I got a kiss from Davy.  Thanks Monkees for 30 years of fun!!!!

Your concert at the Western Washington State 
Fair (The Puyallup Fair) on September 15, 1997, was GREAT!!!.  My daughter 
and I enjoyed it immensely!  We hope you come back again!  My daughter is 
only seven, but she knows all the words to most of your songs and we sing 
along while we listen to your tapes.  Thank you for all the years of 
entertainment that you have given us!

I am 27 years old.  Started watching the Monkees on TV reruns back in 
the '80's.  I saw them on tour '86-'89.  Visited them at the hotel (Ramada 
Renaissance in Sterling, Va.) they were staying at for one of their tours.  
Micky's aunt was best friends with one of my friends ballet instructor.  I 
wish I was still in touch with her.   I love the Monkees and always will.   
I have a student in one of my classes that resembles Micky...  he's gonna 
be a knock-out when he grows up.  MONKEES RULE!!!!!!!

We saw The Monkees concert in Austin, Texas.  It 
was really great except we didn't get to meet The Monkees in person.  We 
waited hours for them to come out, but they left through another exit.  
Needless to say, we were extremely upset.  But we are still faithful fans 
of The Monkees and have been since the early 1980's.  To The Monkees:  we 
are still hoping for an opportunity to meet ya'll and get autographs!!!

What a great page!  I got to 
see the Monkees in 1986 for their 20th Anniversary tour.  Even though I had 
to stand on my seat to see them (I was ten rows back on the floor), they 
were everything I expected them to be, and then some!  I got to see just 
Micky and Davy in 1994 at a free concert sponsored by our local oldies 
station.  After the show, there was a line outside one of the trailers and 
I was told that there was a chance that they might come out.  They did, 
however, I had nothing for them to sign except my "Monkees" T-shirt (with 
me in it).  It has both Micky and Davy's signatures on it (P.S., Mike and

meet someone whom you have grown up with after all these years.  I still 
have my semi-shabbily treated Colgems singles and albums, and they still

Hey all. Am I the only Peter- 
worshipper?! :) Well, love them all but he's just SO ADORABLE!!! Okay, I've 
been a fan for about 12 years, and finally fulfilled a lifetime goal of 
seeing them in concert at the Bloomsburg fair- OUTSTANDING!  Peter is so 
incredibly amazing, he sang 'I believe you', 'Your Auntie Grizelda', 'Your 
love keeps lifting me higher', and a couple others- I was in absolute 
heaven.  Want to go to see them again Nov. 28 in the Poconos, anyone else 
going?  IF you are, or if you just wanna talk (or if your Peter obsessed- 
we gotta stick together! :)  ), drop me a line!

and  He is my best Monkee I love him he is so adorable.  I have all  the

about is the Monkees! Oh! here's something weird: In my science class my 
partner keep looking at the back of my shirt (I wore a Monkees tour shirt) 
and when it was quiet he yelled out MONKEES!  My teacher turned around
looking puzzled and said "DId you have a question?"  The whole class was 
laughing. Now they always tellme "Don't show him your shirt"

My friends all say I'm weird because I love the Monkees.  But little do 
they know, I am slowly recruiting them to the ways of the Monkee Fan!

I want to see another concert MAN was it awesome!  I even touched Micky and

far from Davy.  There were a lot of weird people there though.  I guess 
that is Wis. Dells for ya!  One guy said "Boo and maybe They'll think their 
performance was actually good!"  The man in front of me stated that it 
didn't make sense.  I agreed and A lady next to us said "HEY that's my 
husband"  and walked off.  We just snickered.  Later the man made Davey 
Autograph an album Because 'By Jove He's Been A Fan since...." That man 
scared me! Talk about wacked.

I read the book 'Who's Got the Button?' (it's a monkees book) it was pretty 
good.  I found it and their first 2 albums and their book 'The Monkees Go 
Mod' at a flea market like thing where there was a lot of tractors. Oh!

I LOVE MICKY!!!!!!  I'm 14 and he winked at me at the concert 
in Bloomsburg. I want to marry Micky. I have every Monkees CD, Movie, and 
book. The rest of you are you are all posers. Back Off they are mine all

I have had a deep affection for the Monkees since I was about 5 or so, 
when I saw the re-runs of the show on TV (I'll be 32 this month). My
favorites are Davy and Mickey. I used to have these elaborate daydreams of 
Mickey and Davy fighting over me, but of course I always died at the end of 
some horrible disease or a car crash...I knew I could never choose between 
them, and I could not bear the thoughts of breaking up the group (ha-ha!).

My favorite song is either I'm a Believer or Clarksville; it's a toss up. 
I'd love to hear from other fans my age, and hear their favorite memories.

Monkeemaniacs. I have signed the book before, but the date is wrong.  I 
signed in September 1997, not December! I just wanted to say to all those 
who have seen the Monkees perform . . . you are very lucky.  The last (and 
only time) they were in my half of the world I wasn't even born. The 
Monkees T.V. show is on here every weekday afternoon at the moment on a pay 
T.V. channel called TV1.  It's also on free to air T.V. on Sunday 
afternoons.  So for those who don't want to get up at 2 or 3 in the 
morning, move to Australia!! Love the Monkees forever!! Bye for now,

I don't believe it! I've been a 
Monkees fan since the age of 7, now at the age of 30 I figured myself to be 
the soul surviver of a dying race. I haven't knowm of another Monkees fan 
in the last 15yrs, until I hooked up one of these Sony webtv units (figured 
it would be a start).Now I have chat rooms and wbsites to vist, and look 
what I found, The Monkees!....now I just have to find some chatrooms with 
other fans, ones that can be entered by webtv users, any help out there?
