My favorite song 
is Daydream Believer.  I have always liked this song from when I saw it on 
the show when it was playing on Nickolodian (?sp) that was when I was about 
10, now I'm 19 and I still like the Monkees.

My sister was the Monkee fan in the 
60's . Now I am the Fan in the Family.

episodes a month, and there are only a little over 50, so I should have all

I am a big Monkees fan- mostly 
for Davy Jones. I like all the others, too. My mother was a fan also when 
she was younger. (she was only 10) It's been fun loving a group that was 
from my parents past- they hear my music and start singing or dancing- 
sometimes both. Davy if you see this---I love you' Please come to 
Washington DC i want to see you. Bring everyone and have a concert. My 
parents never made it to one of your concerts- it would be fun to do it

Florida on October 26, 1996. You were great! It brought back alot of happy

Why is it that in the songs section it says "this is the place 
to find the lyrics for 'Goin' down' and that song is to ONLY one the

again. Just because I don't approve of something doesn't give me the right 
to spout off at the mouth! Actually I think it's great that there are fans 
and supporters of the Monkees. I really like the band. That's why I came 
here in the first place! Again, I think it's pathetic though! To imagine a 
childhood idol being on the edge of being a pedophile! Yuk! I had a better 
chance to be a "Mrs. Monkee" when I was 14, than now, over the age of 28!

Hey-Hey! I've unearthed NEW INFO on the last 
primetime airing of "The Monkees" TV series! For 28 years, scores and 
scores of TV researchers have deemed the date of "The Monkees"' final 
summer rerun edition August 19, 1968. WRONG! I looked through an old TV 
Guide microfilm at a local university last month, and, on a hunch, I went 
past the date of August 19 for two weeks and saw something I had never 
before seen: A TV GUIDE LISTING OF "THE MONKEES" ON SEPTEMBER 9, 1968! 
SEPTEMBER 9!? It was a listing for Episode 49, "The Monkees Watch Their 
Feet," and below it read: "Last show of the series. Next Week: "I Dream Of 
Jeannie" takes this timeslot." As Micky would say, "GOSHAROONIE!" After 
making a quick photocopy of the listing, I then determined one thing:
	
	THE MONKEES TELEVISION SERIES OFICIALLY COLCLUDED ITS 
               TWO-SEASON RUN ON THE NBC-TV NETWORK WITH THE SEPTEMBER 9, 
               1968 REPEAT OF EPISODE NO. 49, "THE MONKEES WATCH THEIR 
               FEET." How's THAT for a message for all Monkee fans to see?

Hello I am a 23 year old 
(girl) from the low lands (meaning the Netherlands). From the age of 16 i 
have been a fan of the monkees. I have their 56 shows on video and a lot of 
their music. Pitty enough i stopped with being a member of the dutch 
fanclub, so every news i have been receiving for the last 4/5 years has 
come from radio or t.v. Lucky enough do i have a friend who found this 
site. Not so lucky for him because i talk about all the time (well not all 
the time but still enough. I am a d.j. in alkmaar. (The local radiostation) 
and i play a lot of monkees when i can.

I am glad that they are still very popular and i hope that they will go on 
for lots of years. Now i have a question. Are the monkees coming to the 
netherlands in march. If they really do, i would be so happy!

Brazil and I am forty years old. My childhood was marked by several good 
things and one of them was to be able to see a lot of Monkees'pictures.

Kinda embarassing to read 
how many younger folks on here talk about their mothers and fathers 
watching the Monkees when they were young, especially since I was one of
those "parents".. ;)  Some things in life you can NEVER outgrow.  In fact, 
my kids are more interested in watching Monkees tapes instead of MTV..

thanx to Brad for making such a great page on my favorite group. This page 
is so great! I saw The Monkees in concert on their tour and they were 
great! They are such performers. They each took control of the stage, and 
were really terrific! I am so happy that The Mon- kees are coming back. I 
saw The Disney Channel special on them and I thought that it was really 
good. I can't wait to see the ABC special! 

Elaine, Micky dates younger women, I thought that he was married? How 
old are the women that he dates? Do any of the other Monkee members date 
women younger than themselves? 

Just a note to thank all involved for a 
superb web page. A true labour of love. It was so cool to have the guys 
here in the UK, they got so much more exposure than in 1987. They were on a 
whole bunch of shows (radio and tv) and in all the tabloid papers. The only 
negative coverage was from the Daily Mail who wrote an article titled 'HEY 
HEY He's a Grumpy' about Mike's performance on a tv show (Richard and 
Judy). It was a storm in a teacup, Mike was just his usual self, but at 
least it was more publicity. As a result of all the coverage ticket sales 
were so good the guys added 2 extra shows, one in London and one in 
Birmingham.I can't wait till March.

The Monkeys are way up 
there...rite up there with the Beatles.  I thot their t.v. show was kinda 
funny, but it was still a take-off from A Hard Day's Nite...but it was 
still cool

Carol, Wow..I didn't think my comments would turn into this! I am only 
going by what I have heard only! I don't have any proof of their actions, 
but some of those who post have. No, I don't believe Mickey is married and 
I heard he dates girls, not women. My guess is that they're in their late 
teens or very early 20's (he's 50 something)! I think the others date 
younger ones too,but I've heard mostly about Mickey. Ask Mazzepha, who has 
seen the mickster go after the younguns'. Elaine (who is sorry she opened

Theese guys are the reason I got my first 
TV set when I was 5 because my Dad got tired of fighting with me over the 
TV when the Monkeys came on! Thanks Guys!!!

always enjoy reading this page!  I love the Monkees and have for the past
11 years!  They have given me nothing but fun!  I must say, that they only 
seem to get better with age!!!!! Their concerts this past year were the 
best I've ever seen! It is encouraging to see so many other people who 
still love them too!!!!!  I was a bit concerned when I read all that 
"stuff" about Micky (not spelled with an "e"!) dating younger women--or 
whatever nonsense was being discussed.  First of all, this is not the place 
to air your problems.  Secondly, I must question why in the world you are 
spending so much time discussing the love life of Micky Dolenz?  Really, it 
is none of your business who he dates, and it shouldn't upset you quite so 
much.  I certainly hope you have more in your life to be concerned with. 
And,it seems apparant to me that you really have no facts to base your 
opinion on. So, before you begin to slander someone, at least have some 
support for what you are saying.  Personally, I don't care who Micky Dolenz 
dates.  I am not saying that he does or doesn't date younger women.  It 
must be said that either way, it is his life and he must live with the 
choices he makes.  He still makes great music and does the job he is 
suppose to do!  So, how about we stop worrying about their personal, 
private lives and appreciate The Monkees for what they give us, and are 
supposed to give us:  good music, great concerts, and tons of entertainment 
and fun!!!!!  Let them worry about who they date!

been cruisin' for a while, and finally I add my name to Monkeepage 
history... Unlike some, I don't think you have to ghoose btwn The Lads and 
The Dudes, so I'm a HUGE Monkees fan AND a HUGE Beatles fan! Proud of it... 
Mike's my fave, and I think deep down, we all know it's true!:)  (no bad

I loved Mickey's 
book!

I've been a fan from the beginning and my kids love them now, too!  
Every week after the show I would call up my best friend (also named 
Missy)and we would talk for hours, going over every detail.  I had pictures 
of Davy plastered all over my room. (I'm still in love with him, by the 
way!)  When I was a teenager and worked at Six Flags over Texas, Davy and 
Micky were touring, I think with Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart. I must have seen 
the show a dozen times. Micky walked by my shop, and I nearly died!     

You guys were 
great before and I still LOVE your music!!  Thank you!!

Was cruising the 'net while listening to 
"Pieces, Aquarius, Capriconr & Jones, Ltd." and tapped in "Monkees" on a 
whim!  What a great page!  Nice to see some not-quite- middle-age folks who 
still like good music out there!

Peter, Davy, Mickey, Mike -- keep up the good work!  It's quite obvious 
that we all love you!!

I also remember when in '86 one of the 
cable stations ran all the Monkees TV shows back to back. It was MTV (they 
should do it again!!!!) and I had my VCR going for all 20 hours it took to 
run all those shows. Now when I feel nostalgic and want a giggle I just put 
the tape back in!  For some reason I never played the tape in 10 years 
(shame on me) but at least now the tape's in great shape! :-) Can't wait 
for the ABC special! (already caught the Disney one)

I just have a couple of things to say. First of 
all, I think The Monkees are the greatest musicians and comedians alive 
today!! They have improve skills that are unbelievable, it's such a shame 
that The Monkees television series couldn't have spent more time on the 
air, I really think they had alot of years left, and were cut-off 
prematurally . I am quite sick of hearing peo- ple say things like, "The 
Monkees just copied the Beatles" and "They were just trying to be like the 
Beatles" , anyone who holds this opinion obvi- ously hasn't researched the 
Monkees very much and has no idea what they are talking about . Yes, the 
Monkees television series was based on "A Hard Day's Night", but that does 
not mean that they were trying to copy the Beatles . How many television 
series are on today that are based on movies (ie: CLUE- LESS)and nobody 
downs the actors on those shows for trying to copy the orig- inal stars. 
The Monkees had to have something or they wouldn't have made it. What made 
The Monkees so popular was thier own talent and stage presence. What made 
the show a hit was how much of their actuall selves the guys put into it. 
If they had simply forgotten about their own identities and just tried to 
copy the Beatles they would have bombed. Instead, The Monkees stood on 
thier own, and became a group completely different from the Beatles , John 
Lennon himself once said, "The Monkees are nothing like the Beatles ,
they're more like the Marx Brothers". The Beatles knew the Monkees weren't
trying to copy them, why is this so hard for everyone else to understand??? 

Megan, I agree with you. Of course you didn't have to go on about like 
that, I got your point, during the first few sentences. I do agree with you 
though. I have heard alot of people say that The Monkees are not talented 
musically, that they are nothing more than actors that got lucky, and made 
it big. Well, I am here to say that that is just not true, dadblame it! 
Anyone who says that can well, eat my butt! The Monkees have proved over 
the years to be exceptionally talented in every way! The Monkees are the 
greatest!!!

you can date who you want to date, it's your life !! I gotta tell ya if I 
were 50 years old and young guys were throwing themselves at me like the 
young girls are throwin' themselves at you guys, I would take advantage of 
it too ! I think if you like somebody and they like you and you both enjoy 
eachother's company and you really get along then nothing should keep you 
apart, especially not something as stupid as age. After all, God knows no

I am in love with Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz. I went to see 
them (and Peter) on their 1986 tour and they were so awsome!!!! I also went 
to see them on their 1996 world tour and they were even better!!! It seems 
that The Monkees keep getting better! I can't wait to see them on their 
JUSTUS tour! I have always loved Davy because he is just so darn cute! I

favorite group. I haven't heard a Monkee's song I didn't like. I especially

I 
love The Monkees. Though I like them all my favorite is Mike. I think that
all of The Monkees are very talented but I think that the most talented is 
Mike. He is truly brilliant. He is so quick with his comedy and I think 
that he has very uniuqe and beautifull voice. He is very smart and I love 
ALL of the songs that he has written. Mike is brilliant in every way.

When I was about five or six I started watching the TV program and I

I've always enjoyed watching/listening to the Monkees since I don't 
when...My 8 yr old is also hooked on the Monkees and can't wait for the 
concert tour to return to the States. She hopes they'll perform in the 
Philadelphia area. There is something timeless about their music that it 
transcends all generation gaps.

The Monkees were a very BIG 
part of my growing years, and I love seeing them around still!  The Disney 
Special was very fun to watch!  In fact, that's one of the main reasons I 
think we need to see the Monkees more again..... they're fun to watch!!

I've been a Monkee fan 
since the late 60's and have seen the Monkees several times in concert.  
This is a fabulous page--keep up the good work--I plan to visit often.

I thought the show and music was 
great.  Just purchased a greatest hits tape.  The music brought back alot 
of good memories of the 60's.

I'm basically just a fan of the characters 
and situations of the TV series, although I do sometimes enjoy reading 
updates on the cast or listening to music not directly related to the show.  
I see the TV characters as distinctly separate entities from the same-named 
actors who played them. (For one thing, I can't imagine the TV Monkees ever 
going on a reunion tour, because I can't see them breaking up in the first 
place!)

The Monkees are the best! Micky 
is so talented. He puts me to sleep so many times whenever I listen to 
Micky Dolenz Puts You To Sleep. He is so awesome. So I can say I'm the 
biggest Monkee/Micky fan who ever lived!!!! :)

The Monkees are a GREAT Band, and it's really cool to see a band like 
this still around so many years after they came out, when bands today 
aren't around much longer than 3 minutes, let alone 30 years!! The Monkees

I never thought the Monkees 
would be together for their 30th year. I'm sure they didn't either!  I was 
watching (and listening)in 1966, I'm still and I'm having a great time now!  
Being 41 years old is kind of groovy!

I'm 29, does this mean the band is 
only a year older than I am? I got to see the band on the '87 tour (with a 
friend that had seen them twice the year before) and was very pleased to 
find that they played items like "It's Nice To Be With You", "Do I Have To 
Do This All Over Again" Etc. that I never would have expected. Oh yeah, the 
new album kicks ass, but then again we already know that (with the 
exception of that f**khead from EW).

 I love oldies and I knew about 
the Monkees but I didn't know that they had a tv searies.  Then I saw a tv 
special on the disney chanel and that's how I found out all about them.  
That is what inspiered me to look on the net to find out more about them. I 
don't have a favorit Monkee but I love Micky's voce and I think he is 
incredibly funny.

wife and mother of two, and I have listened to the Monkees since the 20th 
anniversary tour!  Ever since then I have bought and collected anything 
related to the Monkees that I could.  I just found a copy of Missing Links 
#3, and a copy of 33 & 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee. Mickey is my favorite, 
and I miss him on Pacific Blue :( I look forward to finding many MANY more 
Monkee related items on my new fangled computer gizmo-thingy!

What can I say about the Monkees....  We didn't get the show till the late 
60's!!!  But, the wait was worth it...

I saw their concert in Sydney a few years back, it was as Davy would say 
SMASHING!!!

I luv the Monkees sooooo much, they are right up there with the Patridge 
Family!!!!  Their music and their personalities bring back great memories 
which I cherish...

To all you Monkee fans...  YOU HAVE GREAT TASTE!!!!  How many of you luv

I see I'm the first in Santee, Ca. But not the 
first in Ca.  I lived and breathed nothing but monkees in my teen age hood. 
Hurt my back more than once jerking to them. And laughed so hard I almost 
(well you know)trying to teach my mom the jerk to the monkee music. Then I 
had my own two girls and my albums went to them to enjoy, and they still 
do. I saw them in concert at the Padra's game.  It was the best family 
outing we had while they were teenagers.  Thank you Monkees for all the 
enjoyment we received. Take care!!!!!

The Monkees 
influenced me as a twelve year old.  First, the television show appealed to 
me, then I constantly listened to their music.  My favorite album is, 
"Pisces, Aquarius, Capr..." and I am also fond of the music from Head.  I 
had the privilege of seeing Micky in a show here in Calgary in 1992.  
Entirely underated as musicians, I think the Monkees were misunderstood - 
I'm sure many will agree.  I'm glad to see fans out there that can 
appreciate them for more than a T.V show.

sellout, A spectacular show, My son and his girlfriend (16) also loved 
them....Everyone stood up throughout the whole concert. A class act that

on the cover), has a very nice little article on the Monkees,the 
special,and,best of all, mentions that the guys will indeed be touring in

I hope the Monkees continue their success. And I would like to thank 
David, Micky, Peter, and Mike for all the laughs and songs that they have

Gee, who'da thought I would find an 
entire site full of twisted individuals like myself?  I've been driving my 
friends / housemates crazy for years now with my CDs, and singing along on 
the guitar.  I discovered the Monkees about 5 years back when I house sat 
one summer in a house with no T.V.  I soon got very familiar with the C.D. 
collection, which included a "Best of" Monkees disc which I just couldn't 
get enough of!  I only found out later the "T.V. show stuff..(I guess I was 
really too young to remember it from the first time around)  I've pestered 
my local video store into getting some Monkee tapes, but as yet I've only 
seen four eps., and HEAD. (Whoa, HEAD!!!!) I started collecting the Rhino 
re-releases (I have far too many for a sane person to admit to), and I've 
started picking up a few rarities.  The gem in my collection is a vinyl 
album of Radio interviews the Monkees did on their Late 60's Australian 
tour. It's a pearler, and the gate fold sleeves has repro.s of Newspaper 
and Magazine coverage of the tour (they went down BIG here!)

Anyway, I am a convinced Monkee fan, Mike is my favourite (God, how teen of 
me!) and some of my best loved songs are : She, Stepping Stone, and Star 
Collector.

30 years later, The Monkees 
still know how to ROCK!

Not that this would 
make any kind of difference in anyone's lives, but I had not visited the 
guestbook in quite some time and I'm definitely wondering what people are 
talking about when they are saying that Micky is a pedafile First of all, 
who cares what they do....I certainly don't.  Don't get me wrong, I love 
them dearly and I'm excited to see that they are getting all they have been 
asking for for about 30years now.  But my love is different. I love them as 
musicians, what they play makes me feel good and that is all that should 
matter.  What they do with their personal lives is there own business, the 
only reason it's publicised(?) is because there are those out there who 
have nothing else better to do with themselves but bring others down and 
they will be the ones to feel the wrath in the end.  I love the Monkees
very much and had a chance to meet Davy and Micky over this past summer.  
They were very kind and appreciative of their fans and that is all I ask of

I have loved them since and still love them now. I was so hooked in middle and high school that I had their pictures all over my walls
I even made a pillow with Davy and Mike spelled out on it in beads hanging from my ceiling. I can't wait to see the special and I hope to 
hear from more Monkee fans. Cheer-up sleepy Jean and take the Last train to Clarksville with no Shades of Gray.

The Monkees are awesome. I have loved them since I was 8 years old. Keep up the good work guys.

This is great! I've been a Monkees fan for ten years (Since the tender age of 9) It's great to see a page about them on the net!

It's wonderful to see this resurgence of Monkee popularity.  When I became 
aware of popular music in the mid-sixties, the Monkees were front and center
for me.  The Beatles (whom I grew to enjoy, enventually) seemed a little too
serious and kind of scary for me.  The Monkees were just right.  I watched the 
TV show on Saturday, listened to the records all week, bought the trading cards,
lunch boxes, and jigsaw puzzles on the weekends.  Altough my taste in music 
changed over the years, I have always kept a warm spot in my heart for the band.
Now, I work on Wall Street and have five kids and live a busy, full live.  I still
listen to the Monkees music and enjoy it just about as much as I did when I was 10.
The enthusiasm, humor and spunk is still there.  Thanks for the great music, guys.

I have been a fan since I was 12 years old!  I'm 33 now and I get just
as crazed when they come to town now as I did then.  Davy was then and
always will be my favorite, but they all have a special place in my heart!
I hope when I am 80 I still have the chance to attend one of their 
reunion tours!!!  They are the best!!  

The Monkees, their music, and their TV show were part of my growing up years.
They were unique then, and they are unique still.  Their good humor and brand
of fun were just what our generation needed.  I wish them luck, though they 
are the kind of people who make their own luck.  More power to them!

We love you guys!!! It sure would be great to see the show in syndication on some channel.  Davey, you are still DREAMY!

I was 12 years old when my friends and I began watching the Monkees on TV.  I 
remember staring at posters of Davy in my room and wishing I were older!  The 
memories I have of the Monkees are synonymous with the sweet memories of my early
teens and I still listen to their albums.

This is getting ridiculous!  Really, I can not believe this subject is still coming
up--or that Mazeppha is still making bitter, unneccesary comments on a page that she
is obviously not really interested in.  If you can not bring yourself to get over 
whatever personal problem you have, please take yourself elsewhere.  Certainly, no 
one else on this page cares to hear you rip on The Monkees, so why continue to do so?
It is pathetic that you can't let well enough alone.  If you are truly concerned 
about what happens to the Monkees in their personal lives, then you should get off 
your duff, leave your computer, and find a more constructive method of helping them.
Obviously your concern goes no further than to waste your time (not to mention every-

I used to watch the Monkees when I was 3 or 4.  My mom used to tell people my favorite shows were the Monkees and Seasame Street.  Now I'm 14 and I still love them!

I don't usually get to a computer until the weekend, and I am quite surprised to see that

I love Davy so much! I can remember watching the Monkees TV shows in
reruns when I was about 5. Davy has always been my favorite. I got to see
the Monkees in concert this past summer and it was so much fun! It's a 
concert I'll never forget. I only wish I could have been around in the
60's (I'm 16) to have been able to enjoy them then.

Old Monkees fan. was in my early teens, in La Puente, Calif. met Mickey Dolenz at the Teenage Fair at the Hollywood Paladeum.

Well I don't like the Monkees......................I don't love them
either I somthing them a lot greater than love.Love is so Clich`e. is there a word 
greater than Love? Lust maybe! Na that sounds too tacky. Well I cant think of a 
greater word right now know but I do know that discovering the band has been the                 
best thing that has ever happened to me in my whole entire life.

this would have to be the second best thing that has ever happened to me. Infact they
were ment to be on TV in about 8 minutes but to my dissapointment a pathetic iron

My friends at the moment are trying to convert me into a Beatle lover, but I can't
seem to find a particular reason to be obbsessed with them!!! I have absolutely
nothing at all against the Beatles (I adore their watches and some songs) but I
just find their music a little whiney or somthing. I would really love to hear one
of the Monkees sing YESTERDAY though. What a treat that would be!!! My friend
gave me a dub off her beatle tape but the conversion doesn't appear to be working.
Maybee the wrong songs!! I think I love the monkees so much better than the beatles
cause they're all different in origins and pesonalites. I don't know what type
of personalites the beatles have.

Well upon closing I would just like to say to all the 50 and 40 year olds out 
there not to take for granted for being alive in the 60's. I envy you the most!!
oh I'm 15 by the way!! and I suppose Elaine and that Mez person are probably thinking

Oh a couple of questions that I hope someone will answer. Does anyone else know
about the whereabouts of MIKE? I need to know for sure if he lives here or
not else I'm gonna think I see him everywhere I look!! Oh I just quickly tell ya 
about my encounter. Well I had just heard that he supposedly lived in NZ. I 
was in the wharehouse (a really tacky store) bying somthing. This quite tall guy
was standing in front of me. He turned around and looked at me for a second.
That's when I saw the beard. I didn't look at him for too long cause I'm not that good
at eye to eye contact only with people I lust over. But I can remember him sort of
being a little edgy. Then I saw his pants! They were a greyish shade of blue with a 
slight flare at the bottom and he had quite skinny legs. I tried to listen for an 
accent but he only said to the teller "thanks" and walked off with a packet of 
wharehouse chocolate! One thing I don't understand is that if it was mike why
would he buy wharehouse chocolate? Isn't cadbury good enough. Anyway I proably told
you a lot of crap that was about some commoner that enjoys wharehouse chocolate
but I thought you'd like to know.

I would like to hear from the 14 year old from New Plymouth if you ever visit again.

Oh and my favourite is Davy. I havn't seen a guy like that in my lonly years of 
searching.

I own every Monkees album. I would like to chat live with one of them but I'm sure that it
will never happen. As musicians they are my idols. I used to watch the television
show when it was on the air. Seems strange though. The thing is, I'm only 13 
years old.

The Monkees are the greatest and have been for 30 years.  I saw them in concert a few years ago in Phoenix, AZ and followed a limousine to a hotel and Davy was inside.  I stood there to get his autograph surrounded by teenagers (I was about 30 yrs old) but it didn't matter because I was actually meeting my teen idol from 25 years earlier.  The Monkees played again in Phx on New Year's Eve but I don't live there anymore and I missed them.  I was crushed.  I can't wait for the TV show on 2/17!

	I have been a Monkees fan for as long as I can remember! I'm 17 years old, and
even though I'm not part of the original generation of Monkees fans I love you guys
every bit as much! I've been to two concerts and loved both of them!  My friends, my
sister and I went to your 30th anniversary concert in Cleveland this summer and it
was so awesome!  The rain was even kind of fun.  You guys definitely still now how to
put on a show! We were in like the fourth row and I have to say that I think you guys
are all still cuties.  Micky, I saw your art work at the Powerhouse before the concert
and it's pretty good.  I also found one of your hairs from where you were sitting and 
signing autographs.  That was like the highlight of my day.  Anyway, you guys are 
awesome and I'll be listening to you when I'm old and rocking in my rocking chair.
I hope you guys come back to Cleveland soon for another concert.  We'll have to work
on getting you into the hall of fame.  You definitely deserve it!  Good luck in all 
you do in the future and I can't wait to see your special on tv tommorrow!

Hi, I just turned 21 and I have been a Monkees fan for about
10 years.  I've been to two monkees concerts in 86 and 96.
I don't own a computer but I look up the monkees whenever
I get a chance.  I didn't listen to the monkees for several
years until I heard about their 30 year reunion concert.
The concert reminded me of how much I like The Monkees.
So I bought the box set and have lived happily ever after.
Except when I read messages by Elaine and Mezzawhatever.
Why don't you two go and have lunch with the National Enquirer
and leave the rest of us out of your nasty gossip!

This last summer the Monkees visited Oklahoma City and put on one fantastic
show.  It was great timing for me since my 30th reunion for Northwest Classen
H.S. was one nite with the concert the next.  Hope they come back soon. I am 
looking for anyone who may have been at the show in hopes that they will 
remember the name of the song that Micky sang as a solo.  I thought it was
truely a show stopper but can't remember what it was.  If you were there and

I am 12 years old and I really love the Monkees. I first became a fan when I was
four. I was visiting my grandma and my then-teenager uncle loved the Monkees. Reruns 
were on TV there every day and I used to love to watch them. My favorite Monkee is 
Michael (Nez, if you read this, I love you!) although I like them all. I would love 
to get e-mail from anybody who loves the Monkees. To those weird people who like to

Monkees monkees monkees.  When I was a kid I had the first 4 monkee albums.  
As a teen I discovered there were Monkees albums I never knew existed, 
which opened up a whole batch of new Monkee music for me.  Then in 1986 we
had NEW Monkees music.  Now, ten years later I have even more reasons to be
a fan.  This is all pretty amazing.  i write this the night before the ABC
special and I know I speak for lots of you when I say I am pretty pumped!
The Monkees continue to amaze me as they carry on their legacy by remaining 
fresh and relevant, not simply an oldies retread!

I remember seeing the Monkee Mobile one day near the freeway close to Disneyland back in 1968!  I was so excited!  But I was a kid and dad just kept driving down I-5 freeway, I was so bummed because the car was just parked right there, no one was around.  It was so neat, just wish I could have gotten a picture, even though I still have the picture in my mind!

Just wanted to put in my two cents worth.  I absolutely love the Monkees and am 
desperately looking forward to their ABC Special tonight...Feb. 17, 1997.  
The clock is ticking terribly slow and I think it's never going to get here!

I've been a fan of the Monkees when I was just a young girl.  I'm still enjoying
them now...I'm 30.  Keep up the good work guys and keep doing concerts.  I only 
wish there were some way that I could get front row seats at the next concert!

I am eight I like the Monkees

Last month when the Monkee special was on Disney, I started to think about how when I
was a young girl I would watch the show in re-runs.  Because of that special I went 
and bought a cd.  Now I have three and still want more!  My friends think I've gone 
insaneand just don't understand why a 16 year old like me likes the Monkees.  Oh come 
on, the Monkees rock!  How could I not like them?

You see in 1968 the MAN - Jimmi Hendrics did open up for the Monkeys and was booed and
hissed off stage by the teeny bopper audience.  Sorry!  Stay animalistic.

My husband & I saw Davy Jones' perfomance in Las Vegas.  It was wonderful!!!
