Ex-Monkee, blues band to play

A Monkee with the blues will headline a benefit for the Delaware chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society .

Peter Tork, best known as a member of the Monkees in the ’60s, will perform with his blues band, Shoe Suede Blues, at J.B. McGinnes Pub (519 East Basin Road, near New Castle) Sunday night.

Tickets are $30 for the

7 p.m. show, which includes a buffet and a pair of drink tickets. Delaware-based musical comedian Todd Chappelle opens.
